A Thought on Death

I think a lot of humans fight death even though they know where they are going or know that to die is inevitable. My grandmother fought for seven days before she finally went brain dead from her stroke and then it took 3 more for her body to finally go. Even when people say they are ready or their bodies indicate they are ready they aren’t. It’s the war within us I think.

We yearn to live forever, and know that in this lifetime it cannot be. Yet, I still believe we were made for a forever, just not this one.

  1. I am sorry to read this. I am sorry for your loss. A better place awaits her.

I sometimes think of death. Then I find myself lost with those thoughts. I ask why but the answer is always the same.
