The Outsiders

Just finished reading “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton. My very first run through. I cried. I cried a lot.

I often feel like Ponyboy. Stuck in a world of “that’s just the way it is,” when there could be so much more. Thankfully I am not in a gang and I don’t get into fights, but I relate to it. I relate to having a person like Sodapop in my life as well as a Darry. I relate to being a dreamer who likes sunsets and sunrises as well as looking at the stars.

I found pieces of myself in everyone in that book.
