It took me some time to decide wether or not to go inside the store. I was not a person who believed crystals to have some kind of metaphysical power, but I like working with them in jewelry pieces. I love their raw and rough stages of beauty. Again, a metaphor for my love of authenticity. Why cut the stone, when it’s reality is beautiful? It’s rough state of being is beautiful enough, when it’s color is unmatched and it’s texture as it was meant to be.
So I went in, and I purchased quite a bit. The selection was not ideal, but it would suffice for the time being.
I had three days off in a row and found my artsy side needed some excitement. So I’ve been making a lot of jewelry pieces and practicing some newly discovered skills.
I felt like sharing them with you. So…behold!
